	22" x 28 $4000.00 Everything in this painting is taking place the last week of September- hence the title, FAREWELL TO SUMMER. the highbush blackberry has dried up, the leaves are still green but a faded out, tired green. The fall aster is blooming and the ferns are yellowing. The Meadow Fritillary is frantically trying to gather the last bits of pollen. The wood frog is probably sensing that it is time to start thinking hibernation and the crickets are out in full force.. Do you see how the insects have eaten all the leaf except for the fibrous skeleton? A milkweed seed is stuck 0on the rough birch bark I saw the old saw blade stuck in a tree on one of my woods walks- I took pictures of it and left it . How long has it been stuck in there- and how long will it remain?
	Its nice to know that somebody would blister their fingers for you - carving initials in a tree to proclaim their love! but they don't HAVE to! I'll do all the work with a few swipes of a paintbrush and you'll get all the glory! Sounds like a deal to me!!
